Privacy policy
This policy explains what personal information this website collects, why, and how it is looked after.

Who I am
This website is run by Giulia Milia, Perinatal Psychotherapist, based in Ireland. I am the data controller for personal information collected through this website. You can contact me at info@gmperinatalpsychotherapy.ie.
What I collect
When you use the contact form, I collect your name, your email address, whether you are getting in touch for yourself or as a healthcare professional, and any message you choose to write. If you email me directly, I receive your email address and whatever you include in your email.
Please don’t include medical or clinical details in the form. If you do, I will only use them to respond to your enquiry.
How I use it
I use your details only to reply to your enquiry and, if you choose to go ahead, to arrange your first session. I rely on your consent, which you give when you tick the box on the form, and on steps taken at your request before we agree a therapeutic contract.
I don’t use your details for marketing, and I never sell or share them.
Who else handles it
This website is hosted by Netlify, Inc., which also receives and stores contact form submissions on my behalf. Netlify is based in the United States, and transfers personal data outside the European Economic Area under appropriate safeguards, such as the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.
Enquiries are then forwarded to my professional email inbox.
How long I keep it
I keep enquiries for up to 12 months and then delete them, unless you become a client. If you do, your information becomes part of your client record, as explained in the therapeutic contract you receive before your first session.
Cookies and analytics
This website doesn’t use cookies, analytics or tracking of any kind. Like most websites, the hosting provider keeps short-term technical logs, such as IP addresses, to keep the site secure and running.
Your rights
You have the right to access the personal information I hold about you, to ask for it to be corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to how it is used, and to receive a copy of it. You can withdraw your consent at any time.
To do any of this, email me at info@gmperinatalpsychotherapy.ie. If you are unhappy with how your information has been handled, you can complain to the Data Protection Commission at dataprotection.ie.
Changes to this policy
I may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last changed.
